Dragon*KHAN 2016: Cruising & Perusing #2
09/11/17 -DONE! Due to health recovery from an accident this summer and then prepping for DC 2017 I had not finished filling out the 2nd run album prior to DC 2017. It is finished now.
The opening image for this 2nd run through DC 2016 is titled - "Portal - Eye of the Dragon" Back on working this 2nd DC run-through.
The Atlanta Marriott Marquis - Ground Zero for Dragon*KHAN. *The* place to be seen on the Atrium Level. The 47 "Hanging Gardens of Babylon" interior. The Pulse Bar and Loft. The Ball Rooms. The "Must go down to go up" elevator towers. All skywalks lead here. "Chewie, we're home."
Somehow apropos starting date (03/01) to get a 2nd run-through of DC 2016 started - six month mark between the DC Labor Day event in the ATL. My 1st run-through gave *everyone* representation, individuals and groups large and small. The purpose of this 2nd run is to give expanded coverage of mostly groups who got a general covering or individuals I spent time with beyond a few passing shots.
This 2nd run is also being pushed out because some people whom I value worked with me at DC hoping they'd get more than a few SOOC images popped out. They gave of their time and energy and I owe them for that and respect them to post good coverage of their fantastic selves and kits. This album will give more people in the group shoots a better chance to see themselves beyond being a small splotch of pixels in a massive crowd. I use my 70-200mm white lens to reach into the crowds so people can actually see themselves and their expressions, candid and posed.
I do have other work I'm getting back into this spring but will be working on these group/deeper shoots images as I can.
